My favorite parts of Ralph Fletchers stories!!!
Ralph Fletcher is a very talented writer. He is famous for writing stories about his chidhood that are very important to him. So far I've read five stories in class that he wrote. I wish when I grow up I can be as good as a writer as him. My first favorite segment from one of his stories named "Marshfield". The segment that i like is when Ralph says "More than once I tried and left behind one of my sneakers, a lost sole sunk forever at the bottom of the swamp." What I liked about it is that he used the word "sole" the wrong way you were suppose to, but in a funny way. The second segment I like is in his story called "Bobby", which is about his little brother. The segment I liked is when he says "I tried to sneak past, but Bobby saw me and made a loud sound, extending his little arms straight up into the air like, Touchdown! Which meant, pick me up! I'm a sucker for that move. No possible way I could ignore it." I chose this segment because I liked how me and Ralph have a simulaity that we cannot say no to a baby when they do the "touchdown" signal. I hope later in my life, I will be able to still remember him and his very descriptive and special stories.
